Police said that he was last seen at Woodmont Elementary School, wearing black sweatpants, a black jacket, and black shoes.

He has friends in the Federal Way area, and his family has not heard from him since he placed a call to his mother from an unknown number, stating that he had gone to American Lake in Lakewood.

Malik stands 5’10” and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Malik’s whereabouts to contact the Des Moines Police Department at (206) 878-3301 or call 911 immediately.

The police also reminded the public that it is a crime to harbor a minor without parental permission and are urging cooperation to bring Malik home safely.
