UNICOI COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is hoping to open up one lane of traffic in both directions on Interstate 26 within the next two to three weeks.

TDOT officials told News Channel 11 on Wednesday that current repair and debris removal efforts are focused on getting one lane of traffic open both east and westbound before the holiday season.
