    56-year-old woman reported missing from Austin found safe

    AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said a woman who was at the center of a Silver Alert Wednesday was found safe.

    APD said the 56-year-old, who is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, had gone missing Wednesday afternoon.

    In an update Thursday morning, police said the woman was found safe.
