    Broad Street in Meriden reopens after hit-and-run crash

    MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after a hit-and-run crash in Meriden, according to police.

    Police said the woman had serious head injuries.

    Additional information about the victim is not yet known.

    4 taken into custody after Meriden shooting

    Officials said that the car hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.

    The crash occurred on Broad Street. The road was closed from East Main to Curtis Street but reopened.
