Granville Turkey Trot registrations open for 2024

Registrations are open for the beloved and energetic Granville Thanksgiving tradition — the Granville Turkey Trot.

The 5K fun run/walk kicks off at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Granville on Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. Generous sponsors, including the Granville Community Foundation and HedgeRow Wealth Management, make it possible for all proceeds to benefit the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.

Thanks to a new partnership with the Granville Recreation District, participants can register online this year at granvilleturkeytrot.com . Paper registration forms can also be printed and returned with the registration fee to St. Luke’s Church (107 E. Broadway). Register by Nov. 1 and save $5. Volunteers are needed, too! Preceding the event, the second annual Tipsy Trot will be held at Snapshots Lounge (1320 Weaver Drive) on the evening of Nov. 27.

• The Turkey Trot Wing Ding in downtown Granville, Opera House Park (corner of Main Street and Broadway) on Nov. 23, 9 a.m. to noon.
• St. Luke’s Church Parish House, just off Opera House Park (107 E. Broadway) on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26, 9 a.m. to noon and Nov. 27, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Opera House Park (corner of Main Street and Broadway) on Nov. 28, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. — 5K begins at 9:30 a.m.
