It was a lucky night for a Powerball player in Georgia who bought the winning ticket worth $478 million.
According to the lottery's website , only one ticket sold in Georgia matched all six numbers in the Wednesday night drawing. The prize was worth an estimated $478 million with a cash value of $230.6 million.

Where was the Powerball jackpot won?
One winning ticket was sold in Georgia for Wednesday night's $478 million Powerball jackpot. According to WAGA (Channel 5) in Atlanta, the winning ticket was sold in Buford, Georgia. However, lottery officials have not shared the exact location of where the ticket was sold.
Wednesday's drawing marks the seventh time a Powerball jackpot has been won in Georgia . In addition to the jackpot winner, there were two Match 5 $1 million winners in Pennsylvania and Texas. There were no Match 5 + Power Play $2 million winners.
