Brambly Park winery to host 5th annual Howl-O-Ween dog costume contest

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Looking for a spooky event to attend with your furry friend? Brambly Park winery will host its fifth annual Howl-O-Ween costume contest for pups on Sunday.

The contest will span from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the winery, and will have three categories.

Small dogs will take the stage at 11:30 a.m., large dogs will take the stage at noon, and groups that include multiple dogs or dogs and owners will take the stage at 12:30 p.m.

Awards will be handed out afterward, with best in show winning $300. The winner for each category will win three bottles of Brambly Park wine and a $100 gift card. Second place in each category will win a bottle of Brambly Park wine and a $50 gift card. Third place in each category will win a bottle of wine.
