LEWES — Lewes Oyster House is the latest to announce it is joining the effort to raise dine and donate funds toward the Fourth Street Preserve, and said it would dedicate 10 percent of all proceeds from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28.

Lewes Oyster House joins The Station on Kings, Nicola Pizza, Kindle Restaurant, Crooked Hammock, Half Full and King’s Ice Cream who have already sponsored, or are planning events this year.

More establishments are considering dates for events this year or in 2025, according to Pam Costanzi, campaign director.

The campaign seeks $8 million by Sept. 15, 2025 to purchase the 30 remaining acres of forested open space in Lewes. The preserve site was the first deeded land in all of Lewes, dating to 1670.
