A Centralia man was arrested for allegedly threatening to check a Longview Fibre Federal Credit Union employee's work with pistols because he said there should have been more money in his account.

A public defender has been appointed to represent 63-year-old Steve M. Fullerton, who is currently being held without bail in Cowlitz County Jail and has a hearing scheduled for Friday.

As stated in the police report, officers from the Longview Police Department responded to Fibre Federal at the Triangle Center at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 18, regarding a man who was irate over issues with his bank account.

Dispatch told arriving officers Fullerton was throwing eggs at the building.

Two people, one a teller, told police Fullerton cursed at them and "clearly said" he would return to the bank with two Colt .45 pistols "strapped to his hip," the police report states. He told the teller he wanted to review how the bank totaled his account funds with the weapons.

After being detained, Fullerton yelled at the arresting officers and refused to obey their commands, the report says.

According to jail records, Fullerton was arrested on suspicion of felony harassment.
