(WJBF) – A boil water advisory has been issued for several areas in the city of Grovetown.Those areas include: Trudeau Trail, Northlake subdivision, Grove Landing subdivision, Columbia County Schools in the City of Grovetown, Ashland Commons subdivision, Pamir Place, Euchee Lakes subdivision, Harlem Grovetown Road from Adams Lane to Young Drive, Young Drive from Harlem Grovetown Road to Louisville Road, and Caroleton subdivision.The advisory has been issued due to a water main break near the Grovetown Trails at Euchee Creek on Wednesday night; however, water service was restored before 11 AM on Thursday.Advisors are recommending people to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, drinking water for pets, washing food, and preparing food and baby formula.The City of Grovetown says an alert will be sent out when the advisory has been lifted.Copyright 2024 Nexstar Media, Inc.
