    Ashley, Morris Home offering chance at free furniture

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A furniture company is paying attention to the number of voters who cast their ballots during the November election.

    According to the Morris Furniture Company, the company of Ashley and Morris Home, claims that if 6.4 million votes are cast in Ohio’s presidential race, select customers may get their furniture for free.

    If the threshold is met, customers that make a qualifying accessory, furniture or mattress purchase of $998 from Oct. 15 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 4, the purchase will be free.

    Purchases have to be made at the following locations:

    • Ashley
    • Ashley Outlets
    • Better Sleep Shops
    • Morris Home Furniture & Mattress
    • Morris Outlet
    • morrisathome.com

    “This will be one of the most important elections in recent times,” said Manny Sciberras, president and CEO of Morris Furniture Company. “Record turnout is once again expected, so we thought this promotion would be a great way to encourage people to vote.”

    Ashley has had a class action lawsuit against them regarding pull out sofa bed mattresses containing cancer causing chemicals since 2021. Still waiting for settlement checks.
