Dr. Armstrong and Congresswoman Bonamici read to students at Markham Elementary. Dr. Armstrong said students will be able to access the new books through their school library, which will greatly benefit their education."Markham has had some hard moments and so any opportunity to put a spotlight on what's happening and to enrich our kiddos with books and literacy is special," said Dr. Armstrong.Dr. Armstrong expressed gratitude for the donation from Washington, D.C., noting that it allows Portland Public Schools to expand their selection without incurring additional costs for the district.</div></body>
