    Mrs. Carolyn “Carol” Roberts Nale

    Mrs. Carolyn “Carol” Roberts Nale , age 74, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

    Carol was born August 18, 1950, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles “Jack” Roberts and Evelyn Hill Roberts.

    Carol was a devoted Christian and long time member of Morning View Baptist Church. Her faith guided her in all that she did.

    She enjoyed sight seeing and afternoons spent fishing. Carol was a caring and nurturing wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life and she made certain they knew of her love for them. Her presence will be greatly missed in their lives.

    Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Ricky Nale.

    Carol is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Lonnie Nale, Jr.; son, Shane Nale and her wife, Collette; dearly loved grandchildren: Jordan Beauchamp and her husband, Zach, Megan Nale, and Logan Nale; and great grandchildren: Joanna Beauchamp, and Emily Beauchamp. Additionally, she is survived by brothers-in-law: Larry (Trish) Nale, JD (Shirley) Nale, Joe (Cindy) Redding, and John (Candy) Redding; sisters-in-law: Ann (Buster) Ward, Janet Nale, and Jan (Jim) Tober; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Reverend John Redding, Reverend Jerome Smith, and Reverend Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

    The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Eddie Nale, Ricky Hulsey, Joe Redding, Larry Nale, Zach Beauchamp, and Logan Nale. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Nale and Mike Hill.

    Carol’s family will receive friends Monday evening, October 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

    The Smith & Miller Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Carolyn “Carol” Roberts Nale.
