Panama City Beach council members approved the final design concept for the skatepark on Thursday.The design is a hard-surface skate park with features for beginner to intermediate skaters. It will also have stormwater management, spectator seating, and more.The city awarded New Line Skateparks the $1.4 million contract in July. New Line will also build a new roadway and new fencing.“There’s a lot of excitement about this. We’ve had multiple meetings with the residents in Panama City Beach, and a lot of the youth came to our meetings and want to have this amenity.
