Her husband, Mike Kanellis, shared the following:</p><blockquote><p>“Maria’s surgery went well. She is staying overnight at the hospital for observation and should be released tomorrow,” Bennett wrote. “My wife is a badass. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We love y’all so very much.” </p></blockquote><p>— Kanellis announced over the summer that the mass had been found “accidentally” during a test and initial tests were inconclusive as to whether the mass was cancerous or not. She had asked for her adrenal glands to be checked six months before that due to symptoms she was having, but insurance would not cover it at the time.
