AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The City of Augusta is temporarily closing roads for infrastructure improvements starting next week.

13th Street & Jones Street will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 28 for a brick crosswalk installation. Traffic coming over the Savannah River bridge from North Augusta will have to detour left or right at Reynolds Street. The intersection is expected to be closed for approximately two weeks.

Wylds Road between the Augusta Mall and North Leg Road will be closed at the railroad tracks for repairs beginning Tuesday, Oct. 29. These repairs are expected to take one week to complete.
