    Family fun events happening around Spokane this weekend for Halloween

    SPOKANE, Wash. — Halloween is quickly approaching, and the Spokane area has plenty of spooky-themed events.

    Whether you're looking for family-friendly fun, or prepared to get scared, there's something for everyone.

    Isaac Foundation Trunk or Treat

    Come dressed up or not and have a trick-or-treating good time. Trick or treating "doors" inside and tons of fun vendors outside. Cost is $10 per child. Event is on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. All ages abilities welcome. Pre-registration highly recommended.

    Salvation Army Trunk or Treat

    Trunk or Treat’ will take place at The Salvation Army in Spokane at 222 E. Indiana Ave. The community is invited to join in the fun, as there will be candy, cocoa, and hot dogs while supplies last. Event is on Friday, Oct. 25, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Please, no scary costumes.     Ghoul Ol' Fashioned Fun

    Kids and their families are invited to Camp Dart-Lo for the annual Ghoul Ol' Fashioned Fun event! Fall/Halloween inspired activities can be found all throughout camp that will be sure to keep your whole family entertained for hours. Oct. 25, 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., Oct. 26, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    Spooky Storytime & Scavenger Hunt

    Auntie's is hosting spooky story time followed by a scavenger hunt! Costumes are encouraged. Find all five scavenger hunt items and win a prize! This is a FREE event open to the public. Event is on Saturday, Oct. 26, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

    Pumpkin Picking

    Immerse yourself in the joy of pumpkin picking amidst the landscapes of Green Bluff. Experience the magic of autumn as you select the perfect pumpkins and create cherished memories with your loved ones. Explore our list of Green Bluff growers offering a delightful array of pumpkins for this fall's harvest.

    Halloween Bash at Chaos Arcade

    The Halloween Bash features a kid's costume contest, adult cosplay competition, a spooky-themed all-you-can-eat buffet, a ghost-pepper cake pop eating challenge, raffle prizes all day long, VR challenges, and much more. Event is on Sunday, Oct. 27, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

    Spo-Candy Crawl

    There are SPOOKY scenes happening all over downtown Spokane. On Saturday, October 26, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., locate each scene and decipher a riddle to earn a treat-bag full of fall goodies. Use your Spo-Candy worksheet to find all ten scenes. Each scene contains a clue to help you complete the worksheet riddle. Once you know the answer to the riddle, trade in your completed worksheet at the Numerica Skate Ribbon in Riverfront Park.

    River Park Scare

    Celebrate in a family-friendly way with character meet-and-greets, activities and an all-around spookishly good time on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Kid friendly costumes are encouraged.

    Explore Spooky Spots in Spokane

    Spokane has a long history of ghosts, graveyards and haunted mansions, with visitors coming from across the Inland Northwest to visit these locations.     Scarywood

    Experience 5 haunted attractions, including the brand-new maze The Swine, 10 scare zones and most of Silverwood's signature rides in the dark.
