    I'll say this. I lived in Wayne county 15 yrs ago. lived in a rural area and there were woods behind the house. I had my kids out back. oldest was playing on the swing set and the baby was on a blanket under the tree. to the side of the backyard was a tree line to the road. I ran inside to grab something and as I stepped into the doorway I saw my dog bolt towards the tree line and saw a bobcat stalking my kids down the tree line. thank God for my dog(American pitbull terrier) cuz I couldn't have moved fast enough to grab them both. he ended up with a couple decent scratches but he saved his boys. I wasn't aware that it was odd. I assumed it was their natural prey drive.

    Don’t trust a bobcat not too attack a human I was raised in NY and they will attack if hungry enough!!!! Don’t always trust the wilds!!!!!
