    It's true that the Yankees tradition/ fanbase is deeply embedded in the Yankees generations after generations. The Dodgers had it that way, too! When they played in Brooklyn. But remember, when the Dodgers moved west, they lost a lot of diehard fans. And you have to remember the late Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela helped the Dodgers create another million fanbase that was only started during the 1980s to present. It's like new money and old money. The Dodgers are new money while the Yankees are old money.
