Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce-Inspired Movie Gets Big Teaser

“Christmas in the Spotlight” is an upcoming film that is said to be inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's love story. Now, fans got to learn more about the flick through its star, Jessica Lord.

Ahead of the movie’s premiere, the 26-year-old actress shared some thrilling hints about what fans can expect from the film and her reflections on the project.

In an exclusive interview with Life & Style , Lord expressed her excitement about the film, especially regarding Swift and Kelce's possible reactions to it.

According to her, “Christmas in the Spotlight” is a “feel-good holiday movie,” and she is “hoping” that the couple “will love it.”

“I just hope that they are as excited about it as I am and that they love it. Hopefully everybody else will,” the actress added.

Lord also mentioned that it is a “different type of performance than a usual Lifetime holiday movie” and that viewers “might be surprised by the performance aspect of this film.”

According to her, viewers can expect a mix of dancing, singing and comedic moments, all wrapped in a light and heartwarming love story. Lastly, she also noted that the chemistry between the main characters is definitely “entertaining.”

Directed by Canadian actress and filmmaker Ali Liebert, “Christmas in the Spotlight” tells the story of Drew, a professional football player portrayed by Laith Wallschleger, who finds love with mega pop star Bowyn, played by Jessica Lord, all while navigating the intense scrutiny of the public eye.

Slated to premiere on November 23, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the movie can also be watched through Lifetime’s cable network and the Lifetime Movie Club.
