Of course, they get worse and worse every year with no end ever in sight.</p><p>Scams have gotten so bad in Illinois, that you have to question everything. Your first thought when a deal is presented to you is this is a scam. Question everything. You always have to be on alert because someone is looking to rip you off.</p><p>The world of scamming got so much worse when the internet became an everyday thing for everyone. It's so easy for all of your information to be stolen from a thief. Shredding events are a help but like anything else, you have to be very careful they don't get in the wrong hands.</p><p>Here's where the new scam comes into play. Thieves are hosting shredding events that are fake. They just want to steal your important info. It just happened down in Springfield.
