A quiet and cool night is ahead; lows drop into the mid-30s well inland, with lows remaining in the low to mid-40s near the lake.

High clouds will stream in on Monday, giving us filtered sunshine. Southerly winds will gust up to 25 mph, with highs topping out in the mid-60s. A few very isolated t-showers are possible late Monday night.

Tuesday and Wednesday the winds and the warmth will crank up across SE WI. Tuesday, wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected, with highs topping out near 80-degrees. Wednesday those gusts could approach 50 mph, with highs once again in the upper 70s to low 80s.

An approaching cold front will bring rain showers and possibly a few thundershowers starting Wednesday evening, continuing overnight and into Thursday. Thursday temperatures will be much cooler behind the front with breezy winds.

Friday clears out with highs in the mid-50s. Another chance for rain moves in next weekend.
