The Hawks celebrated nine seniors before the game: #0 Sidney Falterer, #1 Maddie Davis, #6 Ava Rayfield, #7 Abby Breznyak, #16 Sarah Woods, #17 Amanda Lewandowski, #20 Chloe Kapsambelis, #22 Stephanie Sutton-Brown, and #28 Grace Michael.This group of seniors has led the Hawks to a 57-20 record over the past four seasons. The Saint Anselm field hockey class of 2025 helped last year's squad win the Northeast-10 Tournament Championship, the second in program history, while also leading the Hawks to two straight NCAA Tournaments. Additionally, this senior class has helped the program earn a consistent ranking in the NFHCA national poll the last four years, ranking as high as number three nationally. <ul><li>Saint Anselm goes on the road one last time in the regular season on Tuesday October 29th with a 3:30pm start time as they take on Mercy University. </li></ul>Score: #10 Saint Anselm 5, Molloy 0Records: #10 Saint Anselm (12-4, 9-2 NE10); Molloy (2-13, 1-10 NE10) Location: Manchester, N.H. (Grappone Stadium) Date: Saturday, October 26th, 2024Attendance: 260 HOW IT HAPPENED:<ul><li>Saint Anselm earned back-to-back early penalty corners in the first minute, with seniors Maddie Davis (Exeter, N.H.), Amanda Lewandowski (Franklin, Mass.) and Stephanie Sutton-Brown (Ashby, Mass.) tabbing the first three shots following the two corner attempts. In the seventh minute Sutton-Brown earned her score finding her own rebound off of the Lions goalie and ripping a shot into the upper corner. Throughout the next four-minutes the Hawks would maintain possession taking four shots on goal, with Kayla Lipscomb coming up with big saves. In the 11th minute a penalty corner taking by Davis would put the Hawks in scoring position as a quick dump pass to Davis on the post from Lewandowski would give the home team a 2-0 advantage going into the second quarter.</li><li>The first three minutes of action in the second quarter would stay in the midfield before at 18:32 the Hawks would earn another penalty corner, taken by Davis. A set-play would lead to Maggie Burchill (Braintree, Mass.) finding herself in the perfect position to score off of a deflected pass. Five more shots came from the home team before taking a 4-0 advantage off of a Laurentien van den Akker (Geldrop, The Netherlands) rip and score. Before the half came to an end the Hawks would tally their final score from a rebound shot and score by Ruby Reid (Fitchburg, Mass.) in the 27th minute.</li><li>The second half would lead to the Lions only scoring opportunity as Devin Harkins tallied a shot, wide of the net, off of a penalty corner. In response the Hawks would fire two shots also missing wide from Leila Haertel (Mannheim, Germany). The last fifteen minutes of action continued four more shots from the Hawks, highlighted by a beautiful Ava Rayfield (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) shot, but an even more beautiful save made by the Lions keeper.</li></ul>INSIDE THE NUMBERS:<ul><li>Saint Anselm totaled 29 shots with 23 coming on goal.
