BURNABY, B.C. – Northwest Nazarene women's soccer couldn't withstand a fierce offensive attack from Simon Fraser on the road Saturday, falling to the Red Leafs 6-1. SFU got on the board early in the 13th minute and added another six minutes later to take a 2-0 lead. The Red Leafs then tacked on two more in the final 10 minutes of the period to go into halftime up 4-0. The lead grew to 6-0 after a score in the 83rd minute. The Nighthawks were able to get one back with just over three minutes to play, as Savanna Herz found the back of the net off an assist from Nicole Lewis.
