The game will be played Saturday afternoon at Don Stout field. Game time is 2 p.m.The Comets are seeded fifth in the lower bracket of 16 teams while Fairfield is 12th.Breese Central is seeded number one in its Class 4A bracket with a 9-0 record. The Cougars will host their first playoff game against Harrisburg, 5-4.The Highland game will be a battle of two 6-3 teams in Class 5A. The Bulldogs will host Marion. Triad, 7-2, will also be at home against Morris, 5-4, in Class 5A.First round playoff games for other local teams include Dupo at Belleville Althoff and Nokomis at Camp Point Central in Class 1A, Shelbyville at Pana, Sangamon Valley at Vandalia, and Red Bud at Johnston City in Class 2A, Stanford Olympia at Nashville, Carlinville at Williamsville and Tolono Unity at Roxana in Class 3A, Taylorville at Waterloo and Columbia at Cahokia in Class 4A, Metamora at Centralia in Class 5A, Springfield at East St. Louis in Class 6A, Collinsville at Batavia in Class 7A, and Belleville East at Wilmette Loyola Academy and Edwardsville at Elmhurst York in Class 8A.Days and times for playoff games will be listed on the IHSA website Monday afternoon.</div></body>
