EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -  On a gorgeously unscary Sunday afternoon on the weekend before Halloween, the East Brunswick VFW Post #133 opened their doors and parking lot to host a Trunk and Treat event for kids and their families.

As part of the ongoing outreach of the Veteran post to the greater community, the event featured decorated trunks, cosutumed people, and best of all, lots and lots of candy for kids and adults who wore costumes ranging from Grogu (Baby Yoda,) to Jurassic dinosaurs, to devils, Pikachu, aliens and dreadful nightmarish things!

Car trunks gaped to reveal giant sets of teeth (the better to bite your children with!) dangly sparkles, and icky somethingness.

There were prizes, and a little bit of scary drama from the East Brunswick High School Drama Club, and a good overall feeling of the Veterans' post being an integral part of the East Brunswick community.
