The Worland boys cross country team had a day to remember on Saturday in Cheyenne as they captured their first team State Championship and also produced an individual champion for the first time since 1991. The Warriors placed 3 guys in the top 7 led by Trajn Swalstad who capped his amazing senior season with a convincing victory. He covered the Little America course in 16.07.99 and finally made it to the top of the mountain after finishing 2nd last year. His teammate, Will Bishop who finished 14th last year vaulted up to #4 and that gave the Worland a huge lift as they edged Buffalo for 1st place 41-42.
