Lombard Street for having a loaded gun.The arrest was around 11 o'clock that evening.Two weeks ago, someone opened fire in the neighborhood, firing over 30 shots.Two cars were struck in that exchange of bullets.“I heard all these shots, and it sounded like it was right at my bedroom window," one resident said.A week before that shooting, video surveillance captured a drive by shooting that took place around 7 in the morning.Over a dozen shots can be counted in the video.Residents have been blaming the recent violence on drug use and drug dealing in the area.Fox45 spoke with local resident Micah about the uptick in crime in the neighborhood.“Everybody knows it’s an illegal activity, so they know they’re a little safer with a gun, if they're in the drug trade," Micah said. “They want to not only want to feel safer but extend that power. And make people fear doing them dirty."Fox45 has reached out to District 9 councilmember John Bullock multiple times regarding the violence and the drugs. However, after numerous emails to his office with a slew of questions, Bullock has not responded.“It’s sad. It’s one of the main tools that tear apart a city," Micah said.</div></body>
