    Wind Advisory for the High Desert and Mountain Area on Monday into Tuesday Morning

    HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Monday through Tuesday morning. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.

    A weather system is going to sweep through Southern California on Monday. Gusty southwest winds are expected with the weather system.

    The Pain In The Pass has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 35-45 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 35-45 mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 35-45 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 35 to 45+ mph. Max wind gust will be 50 mph.

    Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 from the top of the Cajon Pass through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.

    Also secure all outdoor stuff like chairs, BBQ, and Halloween decorations.

    The Wind Advisory should expire by Tuesday afternoon.
