Honestly, there are so many fantastic local gems out there that this list is just the tip of the iceberg. So this is part 1 and part 2 will come next because I realized there are so many more amazing categories like coffee, tea, and other gift ideas like experiences I'd love to share.Ok, here it is: Unique gifts like home decor, jewelry, plants, candles, and other random items: <ul><li>Crescent Moon Gifts is located on 6th Ave.</li><li>Paper Luxe is near TCC and comes highly recommended!</li><li>Compass Rose can be found at 26th and Proctor and is a publisher favorite! </li><li>Little Sister is situated at 1744 Pacific Ave</li><li>Stocklist is a unique and well-rated place for gifts and goods in Tacoma!</li><li>Lapis in the north end is giving luxury with our gifts.</li><li>Purple Peacock is highly recommended as well.</li><li>The Waterfront Market at Ruston stores! They have a ton of brick and mortar businesses within that space. </li><li>Freighthouse Square offers a mix of shops, including a food court.</li><li>Honorable mention of one of the publisher's favorite stores inside here:Adorned Abode</li></ul><ul><li>Willow Tree Garden &amp; Interiors is known for outdoor plants and home decor.</li></ul><h2>Local food and drink gift ideas: </h2><ul><li>Dan the Sausage Man has been great for gift baskets.</li><li>WSU Cougar Gold cheese is a great choice from E of the Mountains (ok, this isn't local but I just am obsessed with this cheese AND I'm a Husky alum/fan so this says a lot)</li><li>Gift certificates are available at Crisp Greens </li><li>The Art of Crunch has handcrafted artisan biscotti with great gift ideas.</li></ul>Where to go for customized gifts: <ul><li>Shirt the City Printing Co. is the premier t-shirt printer in the PNW.
