    Florida's "Most Popular Restaurant" Is Getting Four New Locations And Hundreds Of Jobs

    1 days ago

    There are many Florida restaurants beloved by Floridians. I've written about Joe's Stone Crab said by some to have the state's best stone crab and Key lime pie as well as The Columbia's famous Cuban sandwiches. However, neither of those was once called Florida's "most popular restaurant" according to a survey by Food Service Direct in late 2022. The restaurant that was, Chick-fil-A, is bringing four new stores to Miami, Florida, along with hundreds of jobs.

    Chick-fil-A In Florida: Chick-fil-A stresses many ways that it is different on its website. Their chicken is breaded by hand, salads are prepared throughout the day, and their fruit cups are locally sourced.

    The company is family-owned by the Cathy family and does not operate on Sundays because it wants its employees to have the opportunity to rest or worship if they choose to do so.

    Florida has around 246 Chick-fil-A stores and many Floridians embrace the chain.

    For example, a location in Tampa has been reviewed over 6,000 times and earns 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. A typical good review comes from Scott who writes:

    "This Chick-fil-A is one of a kind! The dining room is large enough to accommodate a decent lunch rush and still stay comfortable. The staff were super friendly and came around to help us clear our trash before we had even gotten up. The ordering experience was clear and easy, and everything in our order was correct. The best time to visit this place is around Christmas! The light show they do is phenomenal - legendary, some would say. All in all, a great experience."

    The New Upcoming Stores, Jobs, And Large Charitable Donation: Four new stores have come or are coming to the Miami area, including at:

    11250 S.W. 248th Street in Homestead (recently opened;)

    3200 N.E. 8th Street in Homestead;

    18240 S. Dixie Highway in Miami; and

    13001 S. Dixie Highway in Miami.

    500 jobs are expected as the result of these new stores. Additionally, Chick-fil-A will donate $100,000 to Feeding South Florida.
