    Vote for the 321preps Athlete of the Week for Oct. 21-26, 2024

    It is time again to vote for the 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.

    The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Oct. 21-26. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.

    The last winner was Gavin Gumieny of Titusville swimming. Find a list of the 2024-25 winners at the bottom.

    Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to cbanks@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

    Here are this week's nominees:

    Haley Beigh, Viera volleyball

    Beigh led the Hawks to a playoff win over Lake Gibson last week with 24 kills, three aces and 22 digs.

    Alexander Bercea, Viera golf

    Bercea won first place at the boys golf Cape Coast Conference championship after finishing with a 1-under par 71.

    Noah Flores, MCC football

    Flores caught one touchdown pass and scored two rushing touchdowns in MCC's win over Orlando Christian Prep last Friday.

    Aaron Garber, Cocoa Beach football

    Garber rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns in Cocoa Beach's win over Faith Christian last week.

    Anna Livengood, Brevard HEAT volleyball

    In two playoff games last week, Livengood finished with a total of seven aces, 13 digs and 35 assists to help the Firehawks advance to the regional finals.

    Bailey Matthews, Rockledge bowling

    Matthews finished with a total score of 699 to place first in the individual District 5 championship and help the Raiders advance to the state tournament.

    Keira Merrick, Satellite cross country

    Merrick ran a time of 19:04.1 to win first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet that took place last week.

    Lincoln Moyer, Edgewood bowling

    Moyer bowled a total score of 694 to finish atop the individual standings at the District 5 competition.

    Trey Nevad, Merritt Island Christian football

    Nevad scored two rushing touchdowns and caught a touchdown to help the undefeated Cougars win a game over City of Life Christian last Friday.

    Lucas Raymundo-Wulf, Rockledge cross country

    Raymundo-Wulf won first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet after running a time of 16:11.5 last Thursday.

    Zion Sandy, Space Coast football

    In the Vipers' win over First Academy last Friday, Sandy finished the game with five passing touchdowns.
