Meanwhile, Stellantis paused production in Europe over the summer due to supply chain and market adjustments. Production is set to restart in November, but with a notable change—Stellantis is investing $110 million to adapt the 500e to include a hybrid powertrain. The vehicle is also known for being lightweight, tipping the scales at under 3,000 pounds, making it the lightest passenger BEV in its segment.
