Wyatt Fleming led the way for the Colonels, taking 11th overall in a time of 17:34.06. Michael Webb was close behind, taking 16th in a time of 17:52.90.Rex Taggart continued improving his time, finishing 35th in a time of 18:36.76 and JT Miles was 41st in 18:55.32.Others running for the Colonels included Bryce Hamlin (45, 19:16.66) and Joseph Parker (47, 19:28.38).Marshall County’s Kobey Yates blistered the course in 15:35.37 to win the Class 3-A meet.Daviess County won the team title with 59 points, followed by Apollo (62), Marshall County (62), Muhlenberg County (80) and Christian County.In the girls’ Class 3-A, Region 1 meet, Taylor Morris was the lone Lady Colonel to qualify for state, taking 11th overall in the girls’ Region 1 run.
