No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,500.</li><li>Jerried Beaman of Grimes was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 at the interchange with Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle collided with a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Oleksandr Semenii of Lincoln, Nebraska. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at less than $500. Semenii was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.</li></ul>Oct. 26, 2024<ul><li>Christopher Blitz, 46, of 820 18th S.t, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.</li><li>Jacorey Ivery-Walden, 31, of 4611 S.W. Logan St., Ankeny, was arrested for public intoxication.</li></ul>Oct. 27, 2024<ul><li>Rudolph Zagar, 40, of 14641 Hull Ave., Perry, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.</li><li>Terry Curtis of Dallas Center was traveling in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.</li></ul>Oct. 28, 2024<ul><li>Zachary Dixon, 29, of 309 N. Douglas St., Afton, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</li></ul>*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.</div></body>
