In the 2023 season opener vs. Western Buckeye League Wapakoneta the end of the streak was in sight. The Flyers trailed 26-14 with just a little over 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.The Flyers would score 2 TDS in that span with the winning catch taking place at 1:04 reamining in the game and they would survive the scare beating the Redskins 29-26.</p><p>Five weeks later the Flyers would manage to hang on to beat Versailles 14-13. The Tigers scored with just 2:06 remaining in the game to get them within 1 point…but the extra-point kick went wide right.
