The game marked the eighth of the season, with only four games left this season, the stakes are higher than ever to perform.Coming off of a nail biting 31-28 win against the Samford Bulldogs last Saturday, the Bucs entered the game with a 4-3 record, sitting in third place in the highly competitive SoCon standings.After kickoff, the Bucs and Terriers exchanged punts back and forth throughout the first and second quarters. With only two minutes to go in the second quarter, ETSU was able to take a 3-0 lead after a 28 yard field goal entering halftime.After making some much needed adjustments at the half, The Buccaneers were to able to open up the playbook, leading to a much more exciting second half. Sophomore Jaylen King (Folkston, GA) would earn two touchdowns alongside 88 yards rushing in the third quarter to give the Bucs a 17-7 lead entering the fourth.As the fourth quarter came and went, the Bucs were able to capture yet another touchdown, extending what would become the final score victory of 24-7. Overall, the Bucs rung up 407 total all purpose yards, 198 of which were on the ground.Coming home with another win, puts the Bucs at 5-3 on the season. Looking ahead, our Buccaneers will head to Macon, GA next Saturday, Nov. 2 to take on another conference foe in the Mercer Bears who currently sit atop of the conference standings.
