Van Lith was named to the 2024 Jersey Mike's Naismith Women's Player of the Year Watch List on Monday. The 5-9 graduate student was one of 50 players selected.She is the first Horned Frog in 14 seasons to receive Naismith Player of the Year consideration. Van Lith becomes the third player in program history alongside Helena Sverrisdóttir and Sandora Irvin to be selected to the preseason watch list.Originally from Wenatchee, Washington, Van Lith has garnered preseason Naismith Player of the Year accolades for four consecutive seasons. She played her way onto the midseason watch list as a freshman at Louisville in 2021.Van Lith leads all Division I guards in points scored (1,936) ahead of her final collegiate season. She is the only active college player with at least 1,900 career points, 500 rebounds and 400 assists. She was honored as Preseason Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Year and was one of 10 players tabbed to the Preseason All-Big 12 team. Van Lith and TCU commence the 2024-25 campaign at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 against Houston Christian.</div></body>
