(FOX40.COM) — A semi-truck carrying gasoline and diesel crashed on Highway 37 in Solano County spilling some of its content into the nearby water, the California Office of Spill Prevention and Response said Sunday.

According to the agency, the truck lost less than 500 gallons of fuel, some of which did not get into the water.

The Office of Spill Prevention and Response said that absorbent materials were deployed and that a containment boom was put in place.
