    Dolton, IL – Embrace the spooky season with Dolton Park District’s October Fest, a free, family-friendly Halloween event open to community members of all ages. The festivities are set for Tuesday, October 29, from 5 PM to 8 PM and will include a range of exciting, spooky, and festive activities.

    The October Fest invites families to dress in costume and enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring:

    • Trunk-or-Treat: Safely trick-or-treat at vehicles hosted by Chicago Jeep, Ladies of Da City, Chicago Legends, Anel Accessories, and Challlysans.
    • Haunted House: Brave the haunted hallways if you dare!
    • Games and Face Painting: Engaging, creative activities for kids.
    • Costume Contest: Show off your best costume for a chance to win exciting prizes.
    • Pumpkin Painting, Creepy Crafts, and Storytime: Enjoy Halloween-themed crafts and interactive storytime.
    • Treats Galore: Indulge in candy and goodies (while supplies last).

    Support October Fest:
    The Dolton Park District is currently accepting candy and monetary donations to ensure a memorable experience for all. Donations may be dropped off at the Shaw Recreation Center (715 Engle St., Dolton, IL 60419) until Friday, October 25. Volunteers and Trunk-or-Treat participants are also encouraged to join.
