VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Sectional boy’s soccer is back in action on Wednesday. Some teams, however, in bigger classes, have more of a wait, until the finals on November 2nd. Two of these teams include Vestal and #1 ranked in Class A Owego. So why not set up a game against each other to keep yourselves warm?

It was a back-and-forth match for most of the game. Just before halftime, with 5 minutes on the clock, there was a breakthrough. Vasil Brich made his way from half, down the wing, cut inside, got past multiple defenders, and was able to slot it home for the lead.

The River Hawks would score another in the 2nd, and win 2-0.
