    Two Catskill students to perform at Carnegie Hall

    CATSKILL, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Two Catskill High School students, Madison Mudge, 11th grade, and Molly Osswald, 12th grade, will have vocal performances this month at Carnegie Hall for the 2024 High School Honors Performance Series. The students auditioned for the program in the summer of 2023 and were selected after review by the Honors Selection Board.

    These students will perform with students from around the U.S. and all over the world. They will come together for five days in New York City for their various performances.

    Osswald will perform with the mixed choir directed by Dr. Jeffrey Ames from Belmont University. Mudge will perform with the treble choir directed by Matthew Brady from the University of Miami. This is the second year that both students have been selected to participate in the program.

    There will be two performances open to the public, the honors choral performance and the honors instrumental performance, on February 10. Tickets are available through the Carnegie Hall box office.
