Ravena-Coeymans-Selkrik CSD unveils new logo

RAVENA, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A local school district is one step closer to changing its mascot . Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk has unveiled its new Ravens logo .

The school’s athletic teams will start playing as the Ravens in the fall. Facilities will be updated with the new logo by the start of the 2025 school year.

The name change comes after state regulators mandated that all public schools eliminate mascots and team names with Native American imagery.
