    Water management company building plant in Saratoga Springs

    SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Soleno, a sustainable water management company headquartered in Canada, is moving into the U.S. market. The company is currently constructing a plant at 66 Duplainville Road in Saratoga Springs.

    The plant will bring sustainable water management to residents and businesses in the Saratoga Springs community, said the company. The plant is expected to open later in 2024.

    Soleno manufactures sustainable water system products including pipes, drains, culverts, treatment systems, fittings and other drainage accessories. With the new plant, the company said it will be able to expand into sanitary water, waterworks, hydroelectric and high-pressure applications.

    “It is with great pride that we announce the establishment of Soleno in the United States,” said Alain Poirier, President of Soleno. “Through this new expansion, thanks to our unique technology and the expertise of our team, we will be able to pursue our mission by offering the most ecological and sustainable solutions for water management.”

    The plant is being built on a 22-acre site and will be over 45,000 square feet. The plant will bring between 35 to 50 jobs to the Saratoga community, said the company.

    This is a $22 million investment for Soleno to expand into Saratoga Springs, said the company. The plant is being built with financial support from the Saratoga County Industrial Development Agency and the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation.
