Gilbert Road in Saratoga Springs closed due to flooding

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Saratoga Springs Department of Public Works announced the temporary closure of a majority of Gilbert Road. The closure is due to flooding in the area as well as forecasted upcoming rainfall.

The road closure will impact the section of Gilbert Road from Conver Drive to Lake Avenue. Residents of the road will still have access to their homes but are advised to use caution while traveling in the area.

The closure will be in place from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Drivers are suggested to use the detour established at Henning Road.
