Saratoga Tattoo Expo returns Friday

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The annual Saratoga Tattoo Expo will return for three days this year, April 5, 6, and 7. It will take place at the Saratoga City Center.

Many tattoo artists and piercers come from all over to showcase their talent. Admission to the expo is $15 for a day pass or $30 for a weekend pass.

Each day will feature tattoo contests, live music, and a showcasing of the tattoo of the day. Friday will kick off at 3 p.m. with the tattoo contests running from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a Tom Petty tribute playing from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the tattoo of the day showcase at 10 p.m. before it closes for the day at 11 p.m.

On Saturday, the show opens at 11 a.m. with free caricatures available from noon to 3 p.m. and tattoo contests running from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be live music from Acoustic Rye going from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and finishing with the tattoo of the day at 10 p.m. before closing at 11 p.m.

The Sunday show opens at 11 a.m. and the Tom Petty tribute will perform from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The tattoo contests will run from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the tattoo of the day showcase happening at 5 p.m. before the show closes at 7 p.m.
