VCHC hosting food drive to support local veterans

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Veterans and Community Housing Coalition and the Pines at Glens Falls have come together for a food drive to support local veterans in need. The food drive will be held on Friday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 170 Warren Street in Glens Falls.

Those who come and drop off nonperishables and monetary donations can hang out and listen to some music, have some refreshments, and participate in raffles. Anyone who cannot donate on Friday but still wants to participate can drop off donations at the Pines at Glens Falls any time before then.

The drive accepts all kinds of donations from canned and dried foods to cleaning products with all donations staying local. For a full list of donation ideas, visit the VCHC’s Facebook post .
