The Schenectady Patriots, Troy Uncle Sam Slammers, and Saratoga Wildcats will participate in the tournament and a skills competition to demonstrate their passing, dribbling, and shooting abilities. The Schenectady Patriots have been practicing weekly at the YMCA, bringing joy to staff and members of the athletic club.

President and CEO of the Capital District YMCA David Brown said it’s exciting to host the games. “This event, and our partnership with Special Olympics New York, embodies the spirit of inclusivity, sportsmanship, and community that we strive to foster every day. It’s a celebration of the incredible talents and abilities of these athletes, and we’re honored to provide a platform for them to shine,” he said.
