Warrensburg hosting spring cleanup

WARRENSBURG, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The town of Warrensburg has announced that its Highway Department is hosting a spring cleanup. From May 6 to 9 and May 13 to 16, residents will be able to place unwanted leaves and brush at the end of their lawns or driveways to get picked up by the town.

The Highway Department has several rules regarding the cleanup. Residents must adhere to the following:

• The bags used must be biodegradable, which means no plastic bags
• Leaves must be bagged
• Brush must be three inches maximum in diameter
• Place the butt end of the brush towards the roadside in small piles
