    The head of Rensselaer County Veteran’s Services is out of his job and in jail after allegedly threatening a County Judge. It’s all tied to a murder from nearly three years ago. Also, an Albany man was arrested in connection to a bomb threat investigation at St. Pius Church. These stories, and more, are covered in your five things to know this Wednesday morning.

    1. County Official in jail for making threats to a judge

    The head of Rensselaer County Veteran’s Services is out of his job and in jail after allegedly threatening a County Judge. It’s all tied to a murder from nearly three years ago.

    2. Albany man charged with alleged bomb threat at St. Pius

    The Colonie Police Department announced the arrest of an Albany man in connection to a bomb threat investigation. Joshua Campbell, 28, was charged with two counts making a terroristic threat.

    3. Electrical workers injured in Troy

    Crews from a private firm were working at the Mount Ida Hydro-Electric Dam off of Congress Street Tuesday morning until something went wrong.

    4. Parking permits available for Saratoga Springs city residents

    Leaders in Saratoga Springs are reminding drivers who live in the city to register for a summer parking permit. The seasonable parking program allows drivers who live in the city to park in the city-owned lots and garages for free.
